Wheels - online road load energy demand calculator
This online tool calculates how much energy is consumed by
aerodynamic drag, rolling resistance, and braking
as a vehicle travels along a specified driving cycle.
Virtual Car is used in ENGR 100 at the University of Washington,
and was employed to gather design research data for the author's
dissertation on design iteration and other aspects
of the engineering design process.

How to get Virtual Car 4.0 The Virtual Car distribution file is a zipped file of less than 500K containing Virtual Car 4.0 and a Read Me file. It is available on the download page.
Once you have a copy of Virtual Car, instructor's materials and other information may be accessed from within the program via the "Help" menu, which provides a central link to many help documents contained on this web site.
